About Trish

Trish Ennis Dolasinski, Ed.D. is a freelance writer, editor, and assistant adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University, where she assists doctoral students in the research and development of their dissertations. Dr. Trish has navigated hundreds of doctoral candidates over the past eleven years to the completion of their doctoral degrees. She has been recognized with the Outstanding Chairperson Award by Grand Canyon University for three years consecutive years.

 

Trish is published in local and national magazines, has facilitated writer’s groups, and has been both a regular and guest book review columnist. A preschool through college teacher for over four decades, a retired school principal, and an educational consultant, Dr. Trish’s educational leadership experience have been sought in the Wall Street Journal as well as other national and local journals.

With an academic background in English and journalism, her technical writing expertise resulted in proposal funding and award-winning recognition. Her creative fiction short stories and non-fiction articles have been published broadly. Trish’s life-long writing passion has taken many paths to the publication of her debut novel, Beyond the Pettus Bridge.

She is married to her college sweetheart, Frank, and lives in Scottsdale, AZ. Trish has two adult children and eight grandchildren.

RECENT AWARDS

Trish has been selected to work with creative non-fiction award-winning author, Dinty Moore through a professional development grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. The Commission receives support from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts.
